Generating ideas is no joke. When you are building a personal brand online, you can’t just rely on a bunch of generic ideas.
Uniqueness is something that sets you apart from the crowd, and to be unique, it is all about coming up with new ideas and giving them a new perspective.
When you create on multiple platforms or on one platform for long enough, it becomes difficult to come up with unique ideas. And this is the common reason most people quit.
But I have been creating on
Quora
Twitter

Substack—for a long time now, but I never lack ideas.
But how do I do that? By creating an idea bank.
Yes, I do agree that it is never easy to come up with ideas, but when they do, it is important for you to catch them. I read a phrase on a blog last year that says:
Ideas are like butterflies; catch them before they fly away.
You need to have a system to store your ideas. They are very frequent, and if you don’t catch them, you might miss the next viral post.
As an idea bank, I use my phone’s Notepad app. I simply have files for different platforms where I store ideas. This is the format I follow.

Where do I come up with ideas?
To come up with ideas, I read and consume a lot of content. Umm, consuming will be a bad word; better say ‘analyze and think’ a lot.
Whenever I see something, I try to find ideas from it or see if the story connects with my life. If they connected, I give those stories my life’s perspective.
I usually use

Google
Twitter

YouTube.

Hop on those platforms and see everything that comes from your suggestions from the POV (point of view) I told you. You will never run out of ideas.
