It was July 19, and I planned an outing with one of my friends to go to a nearby tea stall and have some chitchat about career, Twitter, and money.
6:58 p.m.
Friend: “Where are you? When are you coming to my house?”
(I usually go to his house, and from there we go to the tea stall.)
Me: “Wait, I was on a call; I had no time to engage on Twitter. If you are ready to leave at 7:30 p.m. I can join. I have to engage right now.”
Friend: “Ok, no issue.”
7:30 p.m.
Done with engaging, I left for his house, and from there we went to the tea stall.
We were having a conversation about how I am going to work on Twitter, our future plans, and our plans to move out.
At 9:07 p.m. I came back home and opened my laptop to check how my recent tweet performed.
As soon as I opened Twitter on my laptop
SMACK…
On the screen, this was written.
The only thing going in my head was:
I did nothing; still, why did this happen?
I have worked 3 long months to be where I am today.
And now I have to build all of this from 0.
My dreams were shattered in front of my eyes. But honestly, I was not in pain.
I was laughing at my situation.
It felt like some XYZ scene from a movie where the hero’s dreams get shattered every single time, no matter how hard he tries.
But soon I came back to reality.
I just realized why everyone keeps saying on the internet not to be completely dependent on one platform.
And maybe this one is again a reminder for you as proof of the saying.
I did absolutely nothing, but still they suspended me.
They didn’t send me any information to inform me about the situation in advance.
It was a direct SUSPENSION.
So if you are completely dependent on one platform, start somewhere else too. You never know what the future has in store for you.
The best you can do is get them into your newsletter.
Stay safe and expand to other platforms.
I am opening a new account there again. If you want to follow me, here is the link.
